All India IPSC Yoga Tournament 2022
It was an honor and privilege to host All India IPSC Yoga Tournament for 2022. It is always a moment of pride to be involved and associated with IPSC and its events. We hosted the 54th Annual Sessions of IPSC in 1993 when our first Principal Smt. Mahalakshmi was elected as the Chairperson of the IPSC between 1992 and 1994.
All India Indian Public Schools’ Conference Yoga Tournament was held in the school premises on 29 & 30 of October 2022.

Eight IPSC Schools participated in All India Yoga Tournament 2022 at Sandur.

6. The Emerald Heights International School, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
7. The Hyderabad Public School, Hyderabad, Telangana
8. Sandur Residential School, Sandur (Hosting School), Karnataka
Inauguration ceremony
The Inaugural ceremony was conducted in the school campus grounds surrounded by hills and participating school flags swaying to the wind together with the IPSC flags fluttering in the air offered a picture perfect panoramic view.
The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. P K Murugan, President, JSW Steel Works Vijayanagara, our School Director, Mr. Bahirji A Ghorpade, Our school President Mrs. Yashodhara Ghorpade, along with other dignitaries.
Competition stage, judges and support staffEach venue had a separate team of 5 judges, announcer, score Keepers, hard copy and soft copy scorers, holding time keeper, overall time keeper, facilitators to give and collect files of the respective categories, volunteers and call persons to monitor and update the teams on reporting times with the required verification proofs.
Closing ceremony
The Closing ceremony was set in the Diamond Jubilee Block on 30 October 2022.
The Chief Guest was the School President, Mrs. Yashodhara S Ghorpade accompanied by the School Director Mr. Bahirji. A. Ghorpade along with the respected dignitaries.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Yashodhara S Ghorpade addressed the gathering highlighting the different forms of yoga, its importance and health benefits.
