Yashodhara S Ghorpade
Mrs. Yashodara. S.Ghorpade was among the first three teachers of the Sandur Residential School at its inception. She has since advised the school and has been instrumental towards its excellence and ethics.
She has done her BA in English, Psychology and Marati from Karnataka University and B.Ed in English and Social studies from Annamalai University and MA in English from Karnataka University.
In 1970, she was associated with the initiation and establishment of the Deepika Nursery School and the Deepayan English School which is a school at Hospet with classes from 1 to 10 with responsibility for administrative functions and academic supervision as the President of the Association and the Principal of the School.
She was the Principal for Sandur Girls’ Residential School for more than a decade from 1991 to 2013 and is currently the Director.

Bahirji. A. Ghorpade
Bahirji. A. Ghorpade an alumni of Sandur Residential School has been Director of Sandur Residential School since 2020. In addition to which he holds the post of Managing Director of The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited.
He is a commerce graduate with specialization in finance from Christ University, Bengaluru and holds a master’s degree in Finance and Management from Cranfield University, United Kingdom. He has completed his Company Secretary Executive Program from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
He is driven and passionate to take the school to greater heights of learning. He understands the nuances of running the school and is actively involved in its academic and administrative functions. Being an alumnus of the school, he manoeuvres through its tasks and decisions with ease and precision.
His vision is to imbibe the pillars of education and provide the best teaching and infrastructure facilities for an all round development for the students and make them good citizens of the world.
Col . C. Ravindra Reddy
He was a Col. with the Indian Army. Post finishing his MSc in Physics from University of Mysore he joined the Indian Army as a Commissioned officer in the Army Educational Corps. During his service in the Indian Army spanning over 31 years, he held various appointments dealing with administration, educational direction and leadership in premier training establishments namely, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow near Indore, Officers Training Academy, Chennai, AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi and Sainik School Bijapur.
As Staff Officer he served at high altitude in North Sikkim, at Poonch in Jammu & Kashmir and at Bikaner in Rajasthan. He has also served in insurgency areas of Nagaland.
Post retirement, Col. established and headed a Sainik School of Telangana State Government at Karimnagar before joining us here.
